Life Skill Programme – Household Behaviour: Do’s and Don’ts
As part of the Life Skill Programme conducted on Saturday, 4 July 2026, an engaging role play on “Household Behaviour: Dos and Don’ts” was presented by the middle school teachers along with students from Grades V to IX and XI. The programme aimed to help students understand and practice good manners, responsibility, and positive behaviour in their daily lives at home.
The role play featured five different household settings: the bedroom, washroom, living room, kitchen and dining area, and study room. In each setting, students recreated real-life situations by demonstrating both appropriate (dos) and inappropriate (don’ts) behaviours. The performance highlighted simple yet important habits such as maintaining cleanliness, respecting shared spaces, following hygiene practices, using polite manners, and taking responsibility for household tasks.
Through realistic scenarios and lively performances, the students effectively conveyed the importance of developing good habits at home. The interactive presentation made the learning experience enjoyable, practical, and easy for everyone to relate to.
The programme was well received by both students and teachers. It encouraged students to reflect on their daily behaviour and inspired them to adopt positive habits that contribute to a healthy, respectful, and disciplined home environment. Overall, the role play was an informative, meaningful, and enjoyable learning experience for all.
