Amidst festive cheer, Jesus School’s Christmas Celebration & Carnival on December 22, 2023, embraced a spirit of compassion. Heavy rainfall in Thirunelveli and Thoothukudi prompted the school to redirect carnival funds to support Tirunelveli-affected people. This decision mirrors the school’s commitment to community well-being. The funds will be directly handed over to the Tirunelveli District Collector. Parents and attendees showed remarkable understanding and cooperation, turning the event into a meaningful gesture of solidarity and support.

A shape is a graphical representation of an object’s form or its external boundary, outline, or external surface; each shape has their own properties. The shape of the month is diamond. On this day our Kinderworld buddies celebrated Diamond day, all our students came with diamond shape object. The objects were displayed and our teachers explained the important facts about the shape and made our buddies to speak out about their object. Activity was conducted. Photos were taken to make the day a memorable one.
Vibrant Pongal Celebration
The Tamil Club at Jesus School For Excellencehosted a lively Pongal celebration, bringing together students, grandparents, and parents in a festive atmosphere. The event showcased the rich cultural heritage through various traditional activities. The day commenced with students donning vibrant traditional dresses, adding a colorful touch to the celebration. Grandparents joined in, enhancing the sense of community and familial bonds.Students showcased the rich tapestry of Tamil culture by presenting traditional dance forms such as Kummiattam, Oyilattam, and Karakattam. Their graceful movements and vibrant expressions added a cultural dimension to the Pongal celebration, enriching the event with diverse traditional arts.A highlight of the event was the traditional Silambam performances by students, showcasing their skills and preserving cultural traditions. This dynamic display captivated the audience and added a cultural flair to the celebration.
To infuse an element of fun, the event also featured traditional games like Uri Adithal, engaging students in friendly competition and promoting cultural games.Overall, the Pongal celebration at the Tamil Club was a resounding success, bringing joy, cultural awareness, and a strong sense of community to all participants. White is pure light and black is the absence of light. White is the symbol of purity, peace and loyalty where black is the symbol of power, nobility and prestige. On this day all our buddies came in black and white dress along with the black and white objects. The teachers introduced the colour and explained the facts about the colour to the children. Photo session was taken to make the day a memorable one.
