Cultural Costume Day (Middle School) On 13-02-2026

Cultural Costume Day was celebrated on 14 February 2026 at the Mother Theresa Auditorium. The event was filled with colour, tradition, and excitement. Students dressed in costumes representing various states of India, beautifully showcasing the diversity of our country. They also displayed a variety of traditional food items, highlighting regional flavours. The programme became even more vibrant with energetic performances, as students presented cultural dance. The celebration was both educational and entertaining, creating a memorable experience for everyone present.

Eye Check Up On 13-02-2026

Jesus School for Excellence, in association with Bejan Singh Eye Hospital, Marthandam, conducted an eye check-up on 13 February 2026 in our school campus. All our students benefited from this, through the eye check-ups and guidance. The prescriptions were recorded in the child’s Health Record. The initiative promoted awareness about eye health and the importance of vision care.

Movie Day (Junior & Middle School ) On 06-02-2026

On 6th February, our Middle School students were taken on an enjoyable movie outing to Rajas Mall, Kavalkinaru. The students were excited as they travelled together and experienced the joy of watching a movie in a theatre setting. Laughter, smiles, and cheerful interactions made the entire trip lively and memorable. The outing provided not only entertainment but also an opportunity for the students to strengthen friendships, practice good social behaviour in public places, and enjoy a refreshing break from their regular academic
schedule. Overall, it was a delightful and enriching experience that the students will cherish for a long time.

Sensory Day(Kinder World) On 23-01-2026

On 23rd January, Kinderworld of Jesus School for Excellence celebrated Sensory Organs Day with great enthusiasm. The celebration aimed to help children understand the importance of the five sense organs in a fun and interactive manner.
Children were asked to bring materials related to the five sense organs—eyes, ears, nose, tongue, and skin. They happily showed the materials they brought and learned how each sense organ helps us in our daily life.
To make the session more engaging, teachers conducted a puppet show explaining the functions of all the five sense organs. The colourful puppets and simple narration captured the children’s attention and helped them understand the concept easily.
The celebration encouraged active participation and sensory awareness among the children. Overall, the Sensory Organs Day celebration was informative, joyful, and a memorable learning experience for all.

Crescent Day (Kinder World) On 19-01-2026

Crescent Shape Day was celebrated on 19th January at Kinderworld School, Jesus School for Excellence with great enthusiasm and joy. The main objective of the celebration was to help children identify and understand the crescent shape through fun and interactive activities.
Children actively participated by bringing crescent-shaped objects from home. Teachers introduced the crescent shape using charts, models, and real-life examples such as the moon and fruits. Engaging activity like shape identification were conducted to reinforce learning.
The children showed keen interest and enthusiasm throughout the activities. They were able to recognize and name the crescent shape confidently, which helped enhance their visual perception and shape recognition skills.
The celebration was lively and meaningful, providing a joyful learning experience and encouraging active participation among the children.

Grey Day (Kinder World) On 07-01-2026

On 7th January, Grey Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Jesus School for Excellence l. The objective of the celebration was to help children recognize the colour grey and understand its presence in their surroundings.
The children came dressed in various shades of grey, making the day visually attractive. Teachers explained the colour grey using charts, flashcards, and real-life objects. Activities such as identifying grey objects, and interactive discussions were conducted to make learning joyful and engaging.
Children actively participated and were able to identify and name grey-coloured objects confidently. The celebration helped enhance their colour recognition skills, observation abilities, and overall learning experience.
The Grey Day celebration was a joyful and successful event, creating a fun-filled learning environment for the children.

Tamil Proverbs Day (Middle School) On 31-01-2026

Tamil Pazhamozhi Day was celebrated on 30 January 2026 in our school. Students from Grades 5 to 8 participated enthusiastically. They recited a variety of Tamil proverbs, demonstrating confidence and cultural appreciation. The event encouraged language learning and traditional wisdom. Winners were selected based on clarity, pronunciation, and presentation. They were appreciated and awarded prizes. The programme was engaging, informative, and enjoyable for everyone. It was a memorable learning experience.

Plastic Free Future Fest (Junior School) On 31-01-2026

Our school celebrated Plastic Free Future Fest on 30th to promote awareness about reducing plastic usage and protecting the environment. The programme began with a special assembly highlighting the importance of saying no to plastic.
Students presented an informative street play and raised meaningful slogans about the harmful effects of plastic on nature and human health. They also took a pledge to use eco-friendly alternatives like cloth bags and reusable items.
The celebration successfully encouraged students to take responsibility for building a cleaner and greener future.

Pongal Celebration On 14-01-2026

Our school joyfully celebrated the harvest festival of Pongal along with our students and their grandparents, making the occasion truly special. The celebration was filled with happiness, rich traditions, and a strong sense of togetherness, creating beautiful moments across generations.

Masqucrade Party (kinder World) On 12-12-2025

On 12th December, we celebrated Masquerade Party and Classroom Decoration Day with great joy and excitement. All our buddies came with decorative items and enthusiastically decorated their classrooms. In the afternoon, the children enjoyed the masquerade party wearing their colourful face masks. Chocolates, sweets, cakes, and brownies were special treats for everyone. The children happily danced to high-beat songs and enjoyed the party atmosphere. This celebration served as a joyful entry into the Christmas Eve festivities, marking a wonderful and memorable end to the year.
