Dental Check Up (Kinder World ) on 16-07-2024

School dental screening refers to the visual inspection of children’s oral cavities in a school setting, followed by making parents aware of their children’s current oral health status and treatment needs. The purpose of screening in schools is to identify children at an earlier stage than symptomatic disease presentation, thereby prompting preventive and therapeutic oral healthcare for the children. This review evaluates the effectiveness of school dental screening in improving oral health status.
On 16th July 2024, we Jesus School for Excellence conducted a dental check-up for our buddies. The check-up was conducted by the dentist from Rajas Dental College, Kavalkinaru. The reports were meticulously documented on individual health cards, and the records were sent home to parents.

The theme was planned to enable children to identify squares. During circle time, we spoke about shapes and encouraged children to recognize shape-related objects and pictures. All our buddies came with square objects, and the classroom was decorated with them. To further reinforce the concept, children were encouraged to form a square shape. The little ones enjoyed their day and learned about shapes in their own way.
The highlight of this celebration was our little commentators, who stepped forward with zeal and confidence to deliver short speeches about their square objects. Photos were taken to make the day a memorable one.

25th Day Of School (Junior School) on 11-07-2024

As teachers, we are constantly seeking creative ways to engage your children and make every day of school a memorable experience. The great significance in our school is the celebration of the 25th day of school. This special occasion not only marks a major achievement for your little ones, but it also provides an opportunity to reinforce essential early learning concepts.
It was like yesterday when you were walking your child to kindergarten. And now, they are in the first grade. They are reading, writing, speaking, and learning every day. They have easily adopted in the new environment (junior school).
Once students reach 2nd grade, they’re often ready to accelerate their learning. That’s because at this point, they’ve adjusted to the more rigorous learning environment initially encountered in 1st grade and are able to further expand their skills and knowledge in every subject area.
Third graders are roly-poly, best of all, and curious as all. They’re not quite upper elementary students, which means they still love their teachers and school and aren’t afraid to show it and new to pen.
As fourth graders, students deepen their skills to prepare for middle school. That being said, they still learn like elementary school students do. Most fourth graders are developmentally very much still children — they enjoy and learn from play, and they thrive in nurturing warm environments.
We had a joyful day today. We had 25 riddles to mark the 25th day of learning at school. We had a memorable photo shoot to cherish their cute moments.

Green Day (Kinder World) on 12-07-2024

‘Green – The Colour of Life…!’ Green Day was celebrated on 12th July in an instructive way, where the children learnt about the importance of the green colour and its positive effects on our lives. All our buddies came with green objects and saplings or seeds to make our campus green and fresh.
The campus buzzed with a planting activity. Each individual child was given a pot in which they were taught to sow the seeds. Our little hands dug the mud and filled the space with vegetable seeds. Later, they were taught to cover up and water the seeds. It was a great experience to teach the future adults about taking care of nature.
Bubbling with enthusiasm in their astonishing green attire, the little ones created a pleasant, harmonious, and refreshing aura. It goes without saying that the active involvement in this colourful activity infused in them vigour, vitality, and freshness.
The shades of green filled the air with freshness, thrill, ecstasy, and bliss. It also prompted them to think about how the green colour energises and revitalises our lives. It was indeed an invigorating, reviving, and rejuvenating experience….!! Photos were taken to make the day a memorable one.”
