Environment Day (Middle School) On 05-06-2025

World Environment Day Celebration – Middle Wing
Theme: “Beat Plastic Pollution”
On June 5th, the Middle Wing of our school observed World Environment Day with a series of thoughtful and engaging activities aligned with the global theme “ Beat Plastic Pollution.” Students presented an impactful skit and role play highlighting the 3Rs – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle – and participated in a symbolic seed-sowing activity to promote sustainability.
The programme concluded with an environmental pledge, reinforcing the importance of adopting eco-friendly practices.

Road Safety On (05-06-2025)

Road Safety Day was observed in our school on June 5, 2025, to promote safe commuting practices among students. A live demo using the school bus highlighted how to wait, board, and get down safely. Students were instructed to speak only in English on the bus, avoid moving or playing while it’s in motion, and never put their hands or heads outside. Road-crossing rules and key do’s and don’ts were also explained. The session was effectively led by our Vice Principal and Principal, making it a valuable learning experience.

Be Safe Be Smart(Junior School) On 26-06-2025

Be Safe, Be Smart
On the beautiful morning of 26-06-2025, our school organized the “Be Safe, Be Smart” awareness program in the Assembly Hall from 9:00 AM to 9:40 AM. The event aimed to educate students on the importance of personal safety and making wise decisions in daily life.
The program began with a welcome note, followed by informative skits and role plays performed by students, highlighting real-life safety scenarios. Teachers shared practical tips on how to stay alert, both in school and outside. The Principal Ma’am addressed the gathering and encouraged students to always be mindful, responsible, and supportive of one another.
The session was both engaging and insightful, leaving every student empowered with the knowledge to act wisely in challenging situations. It was a meaningful initiative that reminded everyone of the value of awareness and the strength of smart thinking.

Healthy Food Day (Kinder World) On 20-06-2025

On 20th June, the Kindergarten section of Jesu School for Excellence joyfully celebrated Healthy Food Day to promote the importance of eating nutritious meals and making smart food choices.
Children came enthusiastically to school carrying a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, and seasoning materials. The day began with vibrant energy as students from different sections got involved in preparing delicious and colorful salads.
Junior KG students actively took part in preparing a vegetable salad, exploring different textures and colors of healthy vegetables.
Senior KG and Pre-KG children joined hands to create a delightful fruit salad, filled with juicy and seasonal fruits.
A special assembly was conducted where teachers shared valuable information about the benefits of healthy eating, the importance of natural foods, and the harmful effects of packaged and junk foods. Children listened attentively and interacted eagerly.
After the preparation, the salads were shared among all the children, and everyone enjoyed the yummy and nutritious treats. The excitement and joy on their faces showed how much they loved the healthy dishes.
To conclude the day, all packaged and junk foods were discarded, reinforcing the message that healthy food is the best choice for a strong body and a sharp mind.
The event was not only fun-filled but also educational, leaving a lasting impression on the little ones about the importance of healthy eating habits.

Know Me Know Us (Junior School) On 19-06-2025

On 19th June, our school joyfully celebrated “Know Me, Know Us” Day, a special occasion dedicated to helping students express themselves and understand one another better.
This day was observed across all grades, where students actively participated by speaking in their respective classrooms. Each child introduced themselves, shared their likes, dislikes, hobbies, and spoke about their family and cultural background.
The aim of this day was to encourage self-expression, boost confidence, and build a sense of unity and appreciation among students. It was heartwarming to see how every child felt valued and heard, and how classmates listened to one another with respect and enthusiasm.
“Know Me, Know Us” reminded us that each of us is unique, and when we come together, we form a beautiful and strong community.

Circle Day(Kinder World) On 16-06-2025

“In every child’s learning journey, shapes form the first steps toward understanding the world.”
On 16th June 2025, Jesus School for Excellence joyfully celebrated Circle Day, bringing learning to life through playful discovery and hands-on experience.
To mark the occasion, children were asked to bring circular objects from home—such as balls, lids, bangles, and plates—which they enthusiastically shared and identified in class. Teachers introduced the concept of the circle in a fun and interactive way, helping children recognize its shape, properties, and presence in everyday life.
As part of the celebration, children stood in a large circular formation, smiling brightly as photos were taken to capture the joy and excitement of the moment. This simple yet meaningful activity emphasized the importance of unity and togetherness, beautifully represented by the circle.
Circle Day was a wonderful opportunity to blend conceptual learning with creativity, making it an enjoyable and memorable experience for all.

Red Day (Kinder World) On 13-06-2025

At Jesus School for Excellence, we believe that early learning is most effective when it’s joyful and interactive. On 13th June 2025, our little stars celebrated Red Day with vibrant enthusiasm and colourful activities.
The school campus came alive with shades of red, and our students dressed in beautiful red outfits, excited to participate in the special day.
To make the celebration engaging and age-appropriate:
Pre-KG and Junior KG students took part in a hands-on activity where they picked red balloons and sorted them, helping to develop their fine motor skills and colour recognition.

Senior KG students enjoyed an energetic and fun-filled game with red rings. The activity was designed to promote teamwork, coordination, and active play.
The celebration not only introduced children to the colour red but also encouraged observation, sorting, and active participation through play-based learning. The smiles on their faces reflected the joy of learning in action. It was truly a bright and cheerful day to remember!

Story In A Box Challenge(Middle School) On 10-06-2025

The “Story in a Box” challenge was conducted on 10-06-25, in our school for our middle school students under the guidance of our teachers. The event aimed to foster creativity, imagination, and storytelling skills among middle school students. Everyone was given a box containing random pictures, and they had to create and present a unique story based on it.
The activity encouraged teamwork, critical thinking, and public speaking. Students enthusiastically participated and showcased remarkable creativity through their imaginative stories. Such activities develop communication and collaborative skills. The event was a great success, leaving students inspired and excited for future creative challenges.

Umbrella day On (06-06-2025)

“Splash of Joy – Celebrating Umbrella Day Together!”
On June 6th, our school celebrated Umbrella Day with vibrant energy, bringing together students from Grades KG to 12 . The event took place near the swimming pool, where students delighted in artificial rain, dancing joyfully with their colorful umbrellas.
The cheerful music, playful splashes, and happy faces created a lively and memorable atmosphere. Kindergarteners, in particular, radiated pure joy, making the event truly heartwarming.
Such celebrations foster joy, unity, and freedom of expression among students.
In conclusion, Umbrella Day was a refreshing break filled with laughter, leaving behind cherished memories for all.
